Theme for 2007: "United Under God's Tent"
As the local chairperson for World Day of Prayer Service, I thank the women of Paraguay for allowing the Spirit to use them in developing this very inspirational and informative
program "United Under God's Tent." The Word is always challenging and to hear the interpretation from folk a world away is simply awesome, the art that speaks of passion
and strength and is compared to the Paraguayan people. Their interpretation of the colors, my favorite is "the blue sky covers us all in its embrace, like the quiet
presence of God, constantly protecting us, as though it were a tent."
How can I thank my local CWU family for their support and attendance at this year’s central service and Aenon Baptist Church? Let me try by saying we are united under God's tent and there is plenty of work to be done. We can and must take the substance of this program and build on it to lift up our corner of the tent to make this world a better place. Dr. Moore, the Choir, all
participants you are wonderful, God loves you and so do I.
We had a turnout of about 50 at the central service, there were also celebrations in Webster of 30 people and in Irondequoit with 18 people.
