CWU Choir: "Leadership in Song"

In 1933, the women from the Rochester Unit of Church Women United worked together to form the first CWU choir. As the picture above depicts, CWU Choir Members adorned themselves in brilliant blue robes, ready to take their songs of hope, peace and justice for all to nursing homes and CWU events across this great state. And that legacy still burns bright today, in the harmonic tunes bellowed out by the united voices of our current CWU Choir. While over 75 years old, the CWU Choir is still going strong, adding new members to its ranks every year.
