Church Women United in Rochester & Vicinity, Inc. is a local unit of the National Movement of CWU.

We meet for prayer, fellowship, and service on the first Friday of the month. There are monthly business meetings for the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, and other planning meetings as needed. Board meetings are open to all.

Perhaps best known for our Annual World Day of Prayer celebration in March, we also celebrate World Community Day in November, May Friendship Day, which is held the first Friday in May. CWU in Rochester also holds a "Day of Reflection" each October and Advent Reflection in December. In addition, the unit also Co-Sponsors a community wide Human Rights Day Program, a yearly event which takes place on or near December 10th.

Please join us for our three part EIA (Education, Insight, Action) Initiative in which we will educate ourselves to gain insight on a particular social issue and take action.
